Yang Qinfa, part-time lawyer at Haoxin Law Firm, holds a Doctor of Laws degree and a postdoctoral degree in Business Administration. From June 1989 to July 1999, he worked as a full-time lawyer, serving as the director of a state-owned assets law firm. From July 2002 to the present, he has been engaged in teaching and research at East China University of Political Science and Law, serving as the director of the Real Estate Policy and Law Research Institute, the vice dean of the Investment and Construction Research Institute, and the head of the key discipline of real estate law at East China University of Political Science and Law. He also serves as an independent director for public funds and listed companies. His published monographs include: *Judicial Intervention in Corporate Governance* (Peking University Press, 2008); *Macroeconomic Regulation Policies and Laws in the Real Estate Sector* (Peking University Press, 2011); *Economic Rule of Law Strategy under the New Normal of the Economy* (Law Press, 2017); *Real Estate Law Practice* (Peking University Press, 2017); and *Evolution of Economic Rule of Law in China* (Peking University Press, 2020). He is also the author of the national self-study law examination textbook *Company Law*, an expert reviewer for doctoral and master's theses at the Ministry of Education, and a consultant expert for the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
